Schoolies Programs In Vanuatu

It’s hard to be an individual when you do the same as 35,000 others and flock to the Gold Coast for Schoolies Week. Schoolies is about celebrating the end of your school days with like-minded friends, perhaps even the end of a few friendships and having a party before heading down the path to where adulthood lies.

So what makes Vanuatu a great alternative to Schoolies in Australia?

It’s less expensive - from $35 per person per night including breakfast in air-conditioned accommodation with a swimming pool just a walk from restaurants, bars and nightclubs (airfares not included)

  • No drugs
  • No "toolies"
  • No cops/security/barricades
  • No peer pressure
  • No ID checks
  • No clowns to ruin other people’s fun
  • Lots of activities by day - swimming, snorkelling, diving, sailing, fun buggies, waterfalls, canoeing, kayaking, abseiling, shopping or just lazing about in a tropical paradise.
  • Have a lunch harbourside at the Nambawan Cafe, Jill’s Cafe or Chill Restaurant & Bar ($11.50 for a main course including a glass of wine, beer or soft drink)
  • And by night a choice of top nightspots, some with live music, including The Waterfront Bar & Grill, Shooters, the Office Pub, the Anchor Inn, the Voodoo Bar and Rumours Nightclub

There’s no chance of ending up on the 5:00pm news, or of having your drink spiked, or not being able to find your bit of beach or water because of the crowds. This is a place for responsible young adults to play and party - and it takes a lot of worry off the minds of parents.

There are five weekly flights to Vanuatu from Brisbane and six from Sydney with connections from other cities. It is a safe, friendly destination and its no wonder Vanuatu was officially named the 'happiest nation on the planet'.
