Study Tours To Vanuatu

Vanuatu offers a range of Adventure/Outdoor activities that can be incorporated with cultural and curriculum based studies. Personalised itineraries can be tailor-made to suit the group's needs. Here are some of the activities/tours on offer:

  • Kayak Safari: Pascal Guillet from Vanuatu Ecotours offers this kayak adventure from Blue Water Island Resort up the Rentapao River, returning to a shark and turtle aquarium for fresh fruit, juice and a refreshing swim.
  • Bush/Jungle Walking: Pascal also has over 40 bushwalks for all levels of fitness. One of the most popular is a walk through rainforest to Lololima Cascades, a private waterfall and swimming hole.
  • River Trekking: Students can also get wet and wild with Pascal's guided river walks, and…
  • Mountain Biking is also offered by Pascal. You can imagine he is probably the fittest 40-something person you will ever meet!
  • Horse Riding (rainforest and beach) is offered by Club Hippique Aquatic Park and l'Hippocampus (Sea Horse Ranch).
  • Scuba Diving in Vanuatu is fabulous and not expensive - it is an ideal opportunity for an introductory scuba dive for 12 years and over. We recommend Nautilus Scuba Dive.
  • Game & Reef Fishing is also available through Nautilus.
  • Snorkelling in Vanuatu is sensational and there are a number of options including a half-day snorkel safari by boat and Hideaway Island Marine Sanctuary.
  • Coongoola day cruise also offers excellent snorkelling along with a visit to a turtle sanctuary and a beach BBQ.
  • Cave tours are also available on north Efate.
  • Off Road Fun Buggy: Buggies and quad bikes are the means of transport to get an on road/off road Vanuatu experience.
  • Waterfall Abseiling: Adrenalin and adventure aplenty with The Edge Vanuatu.
  • Paintball: 'Rumble in the Jungle' paintball can also be arranged by The Edge.
  • Village Stay: This can be arranged on Nguna island, just off the north of the main island of Efate. Nguna is also home to an extinct volcano and a marine sanctuary.

All operators are fully insured and adventure activities can easily be incorporated into an academic curriculum itinerary.
