Vanuatu Consultant: Ian Heydon

Ian went to Vanuatu in 1999 for a two-week family holiday and, while there, his wife Annie was offered a job teaching at Port Vila International School. On returning to Australia in 2003, Ian attained a travel agency licence and set up Small Guide Travel, to specialise in travel to Vanuatu. His 'love affair' with Vanuatu continues, having made numerous trips there in the last two years, three of them to accompany school groups. Ian has consulted with teaching professionals to maximise outcomes in key curriculum learning areas as well as incorporating a lot of fun and adventure in itineraries. Ian is author of the Vanuatu information website, Vanuatu A to Z and is also available for 'Expressions of Interest' nights at schools in Brisbane and South-East Queensland.

Travel Consultant: Jenny Cowles

Jenny is Ian's business partner and is also a director of Small Guide Travel as well as being a huge fan of Vanuatu (she has made 8 trips in the last 2 years!). Jenny is an expert on the travel side of things and looks after the office in Brisbane. She is also just an email or a phone call away for information, bookings and advice. Jenny also oversees Small Guide Travel's other Vanuatu and SW Pacific travel websites including Honeymoon Vanuatu, Resort Weddings and Go Vanuatu.

Travel Consultant (New Zealand): Paul Turner

Paul joins the Small Guide team in Auckland offering personal service and local knowledge to travellers wanting to explore the wonderful tropical paradise of Vanuatu. Paul is an avid diver, a keen fisherman, and always enjoys a fine meal in a beautiful waterfront setting. Paul has travelled extensively throughout the world, and looks forward to sharing his love of the Pacific with you. Visit the Small Guide NZ website at www.smallguide.co.nz.
